1100 litre wheelie bin compactor for Cambridge market

Cambridge City Council have installed a Bergmann APS1100 rotary wheelie bin compactor in their daily city centre market.

The machine has drastically reduced the number of bins needing emptied saving in collection costs, vehicle movements and keeping the market area tidy.

The APS1100 is a rotary compactor which uses flat top 1100 litre bins, taking average weights from 75kg to over 350kg with knock-on benefits of transport savings.
