Herts County Council Choose Bergmann

Four new traversing compactors installed at St Albans and Berkhamsted

Bergmann Direct won a tender earlier in 2010 to supply, install and service over seven years four new traversing compactors to replace four 20-year old machines.

The compactors operate on the existing rail system and were installed overnight to minimize site shutdown. The old machines were removed as part of the same operation.

The picture above shows one of the compactors at St Albans handling green waste.

The installation part of Bergmann's steady expansion into supplying heavy waste handling machineery for local authorities. New business wins in 2010 include Fife, Veolia, Cambridge, West Lothian and Aberdeenshire.
