Portable Skip-lift Compactors
Portable waste and rubbish compactors: skiplift from 8m3 (12 cubic yards) to 14m3 (18 cubic yards) are all available from Bergmann Direct.
The Bergmann MPB405 is the skip compactor of choice for wet waste or waste with a high liquid content such as food waste.
The reason is because the rams are sealed away from the waste stream. In conventional cross-ram compactors the liquid gets behind the plate and comes into contact with the cylinders and in a short time can damage the seals, causing oil leaks and pretty sooner new cylinders. Choosing anything other than a Bergmann MPB405 (or the MPB906-7 hooklift version) when you have wet waste and you will be sort-changing yourself.Fully integrated bin-lifter for wheely bins up to 1100 litres.

Bergmann compactors use unique technology, the 'throw-over blade' which allows continuous safe filling and cleaning of the hopper area: there's no need to stand and wait until the waste has been pushed inside the machine and the blade will scoop out waste to make sure it gets into the compactor first time.
