CHAS is a founder member of Safety Schemes In Procurement (SSIP) which was set up to co-ordinate and standardize health and safety accreditation schemes largely in the construction industry. It is considered an equivalent accreditation to OHSAS:18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management. Bergmann Direct's accredition, which we have had since 2013 is evidence that we have sound health and safety management processes in place.
