PET Plastic Bottle Baler

Takes the hard work out of baling plastic bottles with liquid still in them.

Imagine spending hours taking the tops off and emptying plastic drinks bottles before putting them in a baler. This is a common problem for airports and test laboratories who want to recycle their plastic bottles but don't want the liquid inside.

Bergmann Direct BDL40 Plastic Bottle Baler
Four-chamber version of the BDL 40 plastic bottle baler: available in 2,3 or 4 chambers

Well, the problem is now solved. Our vertical plastic bottle baler has 164 ingenious spikes in the press plate which pierce plastic bottles while baling them. Liquid is drained out and empties into a 30L bottom reservoir in the floor of the baler under the press chamber.

The baler will deal with HDPE and PET plastic bottles (for example, water and coke bottles) as well as cardboard. The spikes are spring-loaded so no bottles remain stuck to the spikes on the upstroke of the bale press. As a result you can bale cardboard in the same machine.

The baler has two chambers which means you can be filling one chamber while the other is pressing. Or you can use one chamber for another material like cardboard.

The bale is tied off in the normal way with polyester strapping.

Airports are a common application as they collect large volumes of partially full plastic bottles at the security check.
