Bergmann have embraced the electric revolution. The Bergmann Electric Mobile Roll Packer, the RP-EV is the electric version of the market-leading diesel Mobile Roll Packer. So you can get all the flexibility of mobile compaction and the highest tonnages in open containers, without using diesel fuel.

The Bergmann Mobile Roll Packer has proved to be the most efficient compactor for civic amenity sites (HWRC) using open containers. Over 50% of all Scottish and Northern Ireland Councils use it as their primary compaction equipment.

But instead of a diesel engine, there are two 12kW electric motors and a 26.2kW Lithium Iron Phosphate rechargeable battery with a 20-year/4000 hours/multiple recharge guarantee (click here for FAQs). You have the ability to move any full container on site up to 12 T in weight and high compaction rates of bulky waste like wood, household, general, light metal and green waste.

A 10-hour full charge will give you an average of 9 hours of continuous compaction and moving of containers. There's also a 45-minute fast-charge which will give you 80% capacity. There are no trailing cables and no lead-acid batteries. Its the clean, efficient and flexible way to achieve maximum compaction in open containers.
